*****NOW on to "Kim's Kitty Corner"......Let me tell you a little bit about Crash's Landing.  I have been working with Crash's Landing now for over 6 years.  As you can tell, when you listen to me on the radio, I LOVE Crash's and all of the wonderful volunteers that keep it all going and make the hard work worthwhile.  They make a difference!  Dr. Jen who oversees Crash's Landing has a heart and soul for those little kitties, old and young, like no other person I know.

As you know times are very tough now.  I have spoken to listeners who have told me that neighbors are leaving their pets behind to die, in the "once" happy family home, that has now been abandoned or foreclosed on.  If they don't die there from starvation or dehydration they are turned out on the street to fend for themselves in an enviroment that they simply are not accustomed too.  It just isn't fair to an animal to domesticate it and then turn them out.  How could they understand why that nice warm home, with lots of kisses and hugs has now turned into a cold, dangerous, dark street.

If you can help out...please do whatever you can.  So, Dr. Jen and the beautiful volunteers who have to see this stuff and still sleep at night can continue to do the hard work they have been doing.  Crash's Landing is saving their little corner of the world one kitty at a time.  ***Remember Crash's Landing is a non-profit, no-kill animal shelter and your contributions are tax deductable.

If you cannot adopt a cute little "Crash" kitty, hopefully you can donate a little something to help us to continue to help them.  Every little bit helps and no amount is too small.  Elementary School children have helped out by holding pop can benefits.  Even they know it all makes a difference. Help from caring, loving people is the only way non-profits can continue to exist and do the work they do.  Please click on the Crash's website link on the right to make a donation or find out more about Crash's Landing.
