Although raised in Florida, (which probably explains the Miami Dolphins shrine in his office) JT has spent the last 15 years in Michigan Radio, from Lapeer to Flint to Saginaw and now on to Grand Rapids.  As Program Director for WLHT, JT’s goal is to put the absolute best product on the air.  “Putting together bigger-than-life promotions or compelling pieces of audio on the air has to be the best part of my job!”

Helping out those in need it is another strong trait of JT’s, whether it’s organizing monetary campaigns for national tragedies or helping build homes locally with Habitat for Humanity, JT believes that the goal should always be to help others.  “Lead, Follow, or get the heck out of the way” is a mantra JT lives by.  “I despise whiners, complainers, and those laden with laziness…I say only YOU can change things, but you have to get off your butt and do it!  Inactivity and malcontent will never solve anything.” 

Besides Radio, JT loves family, friends, football, golf, music, very cold beer and Heather Locklear!
